Fidelio Charitable Trust

Fidelio provides grants in support of the Arts particularly for Music, including Opera, Lieder, Composition and Dance.  The trust supports individuals and groups who would not be able to carry out a project or activity without financial support, particularly those who are at an early stage in their careers.

Grants awarded vary in size but tend to be limited to a maximum of £5,000 and are usually offered to projects no longer than 12 months in length.

Universal Music UK Sound Foundation

Universal Music UK Sound Foundation is an independent music education charity, established in 1997 to celebrate the centenary of EMI Records and now supported by Universal Music. The Foundation’s aim is to improve access to music education in the UK & Ireland.

Schools can apply for up to £800 towards the cost of musical resources. Please note, we do not fund staffing costs to cover teaching of the national curriculum or peripatetic music lessons and regrettably we cannot accept applications from Music Services.
