As we gear up for the new year, we will be announcing new training dates for 2024 soon. Therefore, this is your last chance to take advantage of our 2023 training sessions. These sessions offer valuable insights and skills in three crucial areas: Alcohol Awareness and Brief Intervention, Drug Awareness and Harm Reduction, and Naloxone Training.
Free online access to a range of webinars and courses developed to support stress, anxiety and depression-related difficulties, Blackpool Talking Therapies will be delivering a range of short webinars over the coming weeks.
These training courses normally cost around £200-300 for a 2 day course, but are being offered free of charge by LCC Public Health. As places are limited, if you are unable to attend or cancel within 10 working days, this will incur a £50.00 charge.
It will not be possible for you to leave early or miss a section of the delivery once you have booked onto the training. Please keep course dates in your diary and arrange cover for any emergencies which might crop up. As part of the tackling loneliness work, Lancashire County Councils Communities Team have commissioned Rebecca Catterall (t/a The Business Wife, please find information on Rebecca attached) to deliver bid writing training to VCFSE organisations across Lancashire, at no charge to the organisations.
The training will cover the bid writing process from end to end, starting with identifying an appropriate funding pot to apply for, through to writing the application and finally how to manage the grant if successful. You will also be left with a set of resources to support your fundraising efforts long after the course has finished.
