Supporting Local People With Food

Gannow Community Centre operates a Food Share programme that is open to anyone in need.
We don't discriminate and we make the process as easy as possible.
We don't ask intrusive questions and we don't ask you to complete an application.
We provide at least enough food for 2 days.

When Is Gannow Food Share Open?

The Food Share programme is open between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
We are open Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

What Information Do You Need?

We don't ask many questions of you at all. There is no application process - just call in.
We record your name, address and the size of your household. We also ask what cooking facilities you have access to and if you suffer from any allergies so we can provide as much suitable food as possible.

Do You Provide Pet Food Too?

Yes, we do.
Pet food is not always available due to the amount we receive from donors, but if we have any in stock and you're in need of pet food we'll provide with you some.

Personal Hygiene & Baby Products

We don't just offer food support through the Food Share programme.
If you have a newborn or baby we have a range of baby products available for families.
Items such as nappies, dummies, and  can be provided.
Soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, period products, and more are also available to ensure you can keep your personal hygiene worries at bay too.
These items are subject to availability.

How Do I Order A Food Parcel?

You can simply drop in to Gannow Community Centre on Adamson Street, Burnley to collect your food parcel.

If you're able to, giving us a phone call beforehand is always helpful, and it means you won't be waiting around for your food parcel.

Call 01282 436396 for more information and to order a food parcel.
