Rural ESOL and Careers Coordinator | Full time | Lancashire

This role is dedicated to improving access to English language learning and career support for refugees and resettled individuals in rural Lancashire. It involves leading innovative ESOL and employability initiatives by recruiting, training, and supporting local volunteers to deliver community-based classes and workshops.

The post holder will design creative solutions to overcome barriers such as transport and isolation, conduct assessments, develop Personal Education and Employment Plans (PEEPs), and monitor learner progress using database systems. Building strong relationships with learners and local stakeholders is essential to promote rural integration and community cohesion. The role requires extensive travel across rural areas and a commitment to face-to-face engagement.

​This role will work exclusively in rural communities across Lancashire and therefore it is essential that the post holder has a car and is willing to travel across the county.​

37 Hours Per Week
£27,492 Per Annum – Ref P26/04
Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2028
 
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and driven Wellbeing Coach to join our team to improve wellbeing across the borough.  You will play a key role in supporting our community to become more active, eat well and make long term lifestyle changes.
 
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will be the same.  You will deliver targeted interventions to a wide range of clients including; nutrition sessions, planning and delivery of health assessments, supporting long term behaviour change and adherence, and working alongside the wider fitness team including gym floor support and class delivery.


You will work across all our facilities so a clean driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential.
