What Our Rooms Can Be Used For
Being a dedicated VCFSE sector centre, The CVS Centre caters for the needs of local groups and organisations by providing rooms for hire which can be utilised for a variety of needs. From large corporate style meetings to one-to-one client meetings, and from partnership meetings to interviewing candidates - whatever your need for a meeting space, we're sure to be able to accommodate you.
All of our rooms are affordable and competitively priced (you may find we're actually cheaper than many others). Block bookings are always welcomed and we operate a generous cancellation policy.
Large Meetings
The CVS Centre can easily accommodate large meetings. Whether there's 10 people meeting or 50, this isn't a problem at The CVS Centre. We have rooms where the layouts available are ultra flexible, and can even be bespoke to meet your needs. Our serviced reception will meet and greet your guests and attendees, and direct them to the room so you don't need to be standing around at the entrance to guide people to your meeting. Rooms are private and confidential to allow you to freely discuss sensitive matters during your meeting. A large TV screen ensures any presentations or digital materials are shown in high resolution for superb clarity.
Small Meetings
The CVS Centre is ideal for small meetings. For meetings of up to 8 people, our rooms are perfect. Rooms are quiet, private and confidential creating the perfect meeting space. Our serviced reception will meet and greet your guests and attendees, and guide them to the room so you don't need to wait in reception.
Sessional Activities & VCF Group Meetings
The CVS Centre happily welcomes local VCFSE groups and organisations into the centre to deliver their sessional activities and group meetings. Whether you're a group/organisation with 5 service users or 30, our rooms can accommodate your needs. The large meeting room is perfectly suited to the delivery of sessional activities due to it's large, bright and spacious feel with fully flexible layout options to suit your activities. The large screen TV makes for an excellent high definition display. Being close to most major transport routes and stations, your clients and members can easily access your sessions. If you've recently been funded to deliver activities check out The CVS Centre as we're here to help you help others - after all that is our mantra. The CVS Centre is also the perfect place for local groups to meet regularly. We accommodate block bookings for as long as you need.
Training Sessions
The CVS Centre is perfect for the delivery of training sessions. With capacity for up to 30 seated learners, this space is able to accommodate large training sessions. It's on the ground floor and our centre is fully accessible ensuring inclusivity in your programmes. Our flexible layouts create the ideal engaging environment for learning, and with a large, high definition TV mounted on the wall you can deliver digital materials with ease. WiFi is provided free of charge too. The CVS Centre may be able to provide laptops for hire to use during your training sessions (subject to availability, capacity, and a small nominal admin fee). We also allow food and refreshments to be consumed in the room. We have an agreement with the church directly across form the centre which has sufficient parking spaces available (small parking surcharges apply). For learners accessing public transport, we're close to all major transport links and stations, and we're easily found.
Conferences & Events
The CVS Centre is ideal for VCFSE conferences and events. We often host our own events at The CVS Centre in our large conference and event space. With capacity for up to 50 seated guests, and up to 70 guests unseated, this space makes for excellent conferences and events. It's on the ground floor and our centre is fully accessible ensuring inclusivity. Our ability to offer a range of layouts to accommodate your needs ensures your conferences and events go according to plan. We also allow food and refreshments to be consumed in the room so you don't have to direct your attendees and guests to another location elsewhere in the centre, but we do have a small kitchen area where you can prepare beforehand. We have a partnership with the church directly opposite the centre which has ample parking spaces available (small parking surcharges apply). For those attendees using public transport, we're close to all major transport links and stations, and we're easily found.
Room Hire Features
All rooms for hire in The CVS Centre are bright and well-lit with newly installed LED lighting, contain central heating, and are spacious, comfortable workspaces.
