Burnley.co.uk are delighted to be the first media outlet inside the new £24m The Woodland Spa. Managing director of The Crow Wood Andrew Brown showed us around this show-stopping new spa, which before it's HUGE transformation had already won best spa in the world several times. And the project doesn't end there, as Bertram's restaurant is about to double in size and re-open in October. The Crow Wood Resort really is another jewel in Burnley's crown. The design and facilities have been impeccably thought through and we're pretty certain those from outside of our borough would be taken aback that this multi-million pound spa and luxury hotel is found not in London or Dubai but in a town in East Lancashire. We've always known we're innovative leaders within our sectors and this puts Burnley further on the global stage. A huge thank you to Andrew and his team for their continued investment in Burnley and we know the resort will go from strength to strength. We can't wait to come back to see the Bertram's transformation (and hopefully for a spa day or two!) One Burnley business that epitomises the ethos of just getting on with it without fanfare is BrightLED. However, after hearing about the amazing projects they have worked on, we think they deserve some attention. We met with Neil Hardy, director, and Bob Wilkinson, operations director of BrightLED to find out more about the company.
