Volunteers’ Week 2025: Your Impact & What’s Next

18/6/2025

Picture
Volunteers’ Week 2025 has been another incredible celebration of volunteering across the UK.

We were inspired by the outpouring of appreciation, from thank you messages and recognition events to the powerful stories shared on social media and our new Padlet. The support was overwhelming in the best way.
Thank you for helping us celebrate all volunteers, past and present, formal and informal. Your involvement truly made a difference. But the celebration shouldn’t stop here. Let’s keep that spirit of volunteering alive all year.
Help shape the future of Volunteers’ Week As we plan for 2026, we want the campaign to reflect what matters most to you.

We’ve created a short survey to gather your thoughts, hear your ideas, and explore how we can better support everyone’s involvement, including those who may not even realise they’re volunteers.

We’d love to hear any suggestions you have for the campaign, resources, and more, to help make it bigger, better, and more inclusive than ever.

Whether you’re a volunteer, part of an organisation, or simply passionate about the cause, your voice matters.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help shape the future of Volunteers’ Week.

Access our survey here
The survey will close on 1st July.
Highlights from this year's campaign

Your involvement this year truly made a difference. Here’s what we achieved together during the week…

Over the course of the seven days, the #VolunteersWeek hashtag reached more than 47million people, sparked 175million impressions, and generated over 21,000 mentions across social media and press.

There were more than 86K downloads of our campaign resources, over 120K visits to the website, and many inspiring stories formally shared on the website since the site launched.

Thank you once again for your passion, commitment, and support in making Volunteers’ Week 2025 such a success. We look forward to learning from your feedback and making 2026 even bigger and better.
