We are currently conducting an engagement exercise across Lancashire in relation to the re-commissioning of a Deaf Community Support Service, commissioned by Lancashire County Council Public Health. The service is presently delivered by N-Compass, with Sue Gardham as the Deaf Link Worker lead.
As part of this process, we are seeking input from health professionals to help shape and inform the future service specification. Calling all young creatives! Join us on Saturday 9th August 2025, 2pm–4pm for a fun and hands-on animation workshop with artist Alexis Maxwell!
Your child will learn how to bring 2D paper shapes to life, picking up digital skills alongside the basics of traditional animation. Spaces are limited due to equipment, so booking is essential! The latest edition of our monthly newsletter is here.
There's a trend in the summer for specific types of crime to increase, often thanks to the warmer weather. That may come as a surprise, but opportunist criminals will take advantage our desire to get out, relax or travel. This August, find out what the risks are and how you can protect yourself whether at home, or away. As always, this issue also has a host local news and special offers too. We hope you enjoy reading it. P.S. Don't forget to share with your neighbours or to pass on any advice that might help someone you know. |
