We have so many great courses for young people aged 16-30 to get involved in. Courses are free and give people the tools to build their confidence, find a job or start their own business.

Join Team, our 12-week personal development programme, for the chance to gain new skills, earn a qualification and meet like-minded people.


Young people will take part in a group community project, go on a fun-filled residential trip, and develop their English, maths, communication and teamwork skills.

Get Started with HEAT


Location: Blackburn College
Taster Day: 13 Aug 25
Main Programme: 18 Aug - 22 Aug 25
Ages: 16-25


On this course, young people will meet new people and learn new skills, gain hands on work experience with repairs and maintenance, build confidence, teamwork and social skills to enable personal growth, learn about Hybrid Electrical Automotive training at Blackburn College. 


To be eligible, young people must be aged 16-25 and not in any work, training or education. ​

On our Explore programme, young people will take part in fun, challenging activities to help grow their confidence while taking steps to achieve their goals.


They will gain key skills to support them in life and work, including teamwork, leadership and communication. We'll provide regular one-to-one support to help young people achieve a positive outcome.
