Spring Into Gardening

With spring here, it’s time to get back into your garden and recycle the remnants of winter.

If you haven't already, join our Garden Waste Collection Scheme and let us dispose of your garden waste for you.

The service costs just £41 for the year. If you sign up now, you will receive collections until 30 June 2026.

There are no collections in December, January and February.

Garden waste is collected fortnightly, on the same day as your recycling. For rural properties, it is collected on the same day as your refuse.

At just over £2 per collection, it’s cost-effective and an eco-friendly way to recycle your garden waste.

Your green bin is for leaves, twigs and small branches, as well as weeds, hedge clippings and grass cuttings.

The garden waste subscription charge is £41 per bin per year, payable in advance. This is a non-refundable fixed cost for the periods July to June.

Once you have paid, allow 2 weeks for the delivery of your bin sticker(s). This will be sent to you in the post along with a confirmation letter containing a copy of our current terms and conditions.

Once you have subscribed to the service, we will provide you with a green bin for your garden waste.
