Positive Action in the Community (PAC) is thrilled to share details about this upcoming event that promises to be both uplifting and impactful: the 'Light Up The Hills' walk!

Join us for PAC's Torch Lit Walk, a fantastic 7-mile charity walk taking place on Saturday, 6th September 2025, starting promptly at 6:00 PM from The Yard Waterfoot, Rossendale, BB4 7AW. This unique event will see us ascend 1,170 feet through the beautiful hills of Cowpe, Rossendale, culminating in a memorable torchlit procession as the sun sets.
This walk isn't just about enjoying the stunning scenery; it's about coming together as a community to support a vital cause. The funds raised will directly benefit PAC, helping those affected by youth homelessness, domestic abuse, and mental health challenges. It's also a significant opportunity to raise awareness for World Suicide Prevention Day in September – a cause we know is close to many of your hearts.

The registration fee is £20 per person, and we encourage participants to aim for a minimum fundraising target of £100. Every step and every pound raised will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in our community.

For all the details, including the route, how to register, and fundraising tips, please visit the official 'Light up the Hills' website: https://www.p-a-c.org.uk/pacs-torch-lit-walk/.

We truly hope you'll consider participating in this special event and help us Light Up The Hills for such a worthy cause!
