You are invited to the first in-person forum meeting of the Lancashire Anti-Poverty Network! Established in partnership with LACVS and Locally Organised Communities Across Lancashire, the network seeks to create a space for good practice sharing and collaboration between the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector (VCFSE) and the public sector around poverty, and to identify strategic, policy and practical gaps in anti-poverty responses. The forum will explore poverty in our communities, current anti-poverty activities and initiatives taking place, and look forward to the future of the network to tackle poverty across Lancashire. When🕙 Wed 11 Jun 2025 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Where📍 St John's Parish Hall, Bracewell St, Burnley, BB10 1TB You can book your place here. As the access to the event is by invitation only, there is an access code required on the event page and to reserve a place. The code is 4445.
Please note, there are a finite number of spaces available, and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. As such, wherever possible, please can attendees be limited to one per organisation to enable greater participation of organisations and voices across the region. If the location of the event is currently a barrier for participation, we will also be hosting a similar event in another area of Lancashire in the coming months. If you would like to be kept up to date with future events, please get in touch via email to be added to the mailing list. If you are unable to book a spot and would like to be notified if spaces become available, please do get in touch via email. If you book a spot but are then going to be unable to attend, please also get in touch as soon as possible. It is incredibly important that all voices are considered in deciding the activities and direction of the network, so if you are unable to book a space to our in-person forums, please note that you will still receive communications from the event including post-session resources and an opportunity to contribute to the discussions held on the day. If you would like to opt out of receiving further communication about the Lancashire Anti-Poverty Network, please get in touch via email. We are also still running our LAPN Poverty Awareness, Prioritisation and Activity survey, the responses from which will feed directly into the content of the forum and the direction of the network. If you have not yet completed this, it would be great if you could do so before 12pm on Friday when the survey will close. Comments are closed.
