Connect with University of Lancashire Volunteers – Sign Up with CVCL and Join the October Volunteering Fair

​Is your organisation looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support your projects? The University of Lancashire’s Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership (CVCL) is inviting VCFSE organisations across East Lancashire to get involved, advertise opportunities, and connect directly with students.

About CVCL
CVCL is the university’s dedicated hub for volunteering. It provides a platform for students to gain skills and experience while supporting voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations.
By registering your organisation with CVCL, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Advertise volunteering roles directly to students.
• Engage with motivated individuals who want to make a positive difference in their community.
• Build long-term partnerships with the University and other local organisations.
• Raise awareness of your cause with the next generation of changemakers. 

How to Sign Up
Registering your organisation is simple:

1. Visit the CVCL volunteering portal.
2. Create an organisation profile and upload your volunteering opportunities.
3. Your roles will then be visible to students browsing the system.
4. Connect with students, arrange next steps, and begin building your volunteer base.

The Volunteering Fair – October
The annual Volunteering Fair is a fantastic opportunity for organisations to meet University of Lancashire students face-to-face at our Burnley campus. Taking place on 09 October 2025, this event brings together local organisations with students eager to volunteer.
By attending the fair, your organisation can:

• Promote your opportunities directly to students.
• Meet potential volunteers who are actively looking to get involved.
• Share your mission and raise your organisation’s profile within the university and wider community.
• Network with other VCFSE organisations and strengthen sector connections.
