Mental health doesn't take a day off

14/10/2025

Mental health is every moment of every day.

It’s a hard day’s work and a catch up with friends. It’s the day you become a parent and when you lose someone you love. It’s the days you reach out for support and the months, or years you can spend waiting for it too.

This World Mental Health Day, watch and share our short film featuring the incredible Francesca – and join our campaign. Together, we'll keep fighting for mental health every day to inspire a better tomorrow.

Your Voice Matters – Help Shape Lancashire’s Transport Future by 30 November

2/10/2025

We are inviting you to help shape the future of transport in Lancashire by contributing to the consultation on the Lancashire Local Transport Plan Core Strategy 2025–2045.

This strategy sets out an ambitious vision for a transport system that is inclusive, sustainable and future-ready—supporting economic growth, improving access for all, and responding to the climate emergency. But to make this vision a reality, we need your insight.
Why your input is essential

Your perspective will help ensure the final strategy reflects the real-world priorities of those who live, work and invest in Lancashire. This is your opportunity to influence how transport will evolve over the next 20 years—don’t miss it.

Lancashire County Council – Meet the Buyer Event

2/10/2025

Calling All Local Businesses and Suppliers!

Lancashire County Council (LCC) are inviting SMEs, social enterprises, local businesses and community organisations based in Lancashire to attend a Meet the Buyer event including a live webinar and one to one in person sessions for key themes and topics.

This exclusive event is designed to:
  • Promote procurement opportunities to SMEs and local organisations.
  • Increase SME participation in council contracts.
  • Provide practical guidance on bidding for public sector work.
Participating in Lancashire County Council’s Meet the Buyer event offers suppliers a unique opportunity to engage directly with public sector procurement teams, gain insights into upcoming contract opportunities, and better understand the Council’s procurement processes. For local businesses, this event fosters transparency, builds confidence in tendering, and encourages inclusive economic growth.

It aligns with Lancashire County Council’s mission to support a thriving local economy, promote sustainable development, and ensure public spending delivers maximum value for communities. By connecting suppliers with buyers, the Council strengthens its commitment to fairness, accessibility, and the empowerment of Lancashire-based enterprises.
