Do you know a young person in Lancashire who has made a real difference in their local community? 🤝 There is still time to nominate someone for the Lancashire Young Citizen of the Year Awards. If you know someone, aged 19 or under, who has done something selfless for another person, organisation, or their local community, we want to hear from you.
Applications can be submitted anytime up until 24th January 2025. Winners and runners up will be selected by the High Sheriff of Lancashire and a panel of judges from the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime (LANPAC), Lancashire Constabulary, and the University of Central Lancashire. The winner will receive £300 along with a special trophy and certificate from the High Sheriff and Lancashire Constabulary’s Chief Constable Sacha Hatchett. Two runners up will also receive £100 and a certificate. Approval of a parent or guardian is needed for the nomination, subsequent publicity and any future events involving the finalists.
