Join the Children & Family Wellbeing Service Burnley for a colourful Paint Party as part of the Lancashire Family Hubs Network!  Rossendale Valley Energy is a community energy group founded in 2022, with the help of local community members and support from Valley Heritage. We are a community-led, not-for-profit group unique to the Rossendale Valley. We aim to help Rossendale live in warmer, healthier homes without extra cost and improve our fuel security in a fair and affordable way.   The deadline for the next round of our Retreat Away Fund- subsidised stays for community groups- will be 1st April.
Apply for funding towards a residential stay or a woodland day at Rookhow in South Lakes. 16 bed Bunkbarn, yurt, Quaker Meeting House (extra group & sleeping space), room to camp. 12 acres of woodland to yourselves with a campfire. Up to 30 on site including staff and volunteers.  We are doing a project called Talk To Us: Women’s Health Phase 2.
This will be focusing on menopause, mental health and gynaecological health.  North West Ambulance Service is holding a FREE community engagement event with interactive talks on our services, information on careers, lifesaving skills and much more.
The event is taking place on Thursday 27 February 2025, 11:00 –14:30 at Impact Conferencing, Life Church Lancashire, 30 Sycamore Ave, Burnley BB12 6QP.  Speakers: Anne-Marie Williams, Penrith Action Transition Community and CUMBRIA DIVEST, and Debbie Binch of CUMBRIA DIVEST
