We also oversee how money is spent and make sure health services are working well and are of high quality. Did you know that in the first two months of 2026, Arts Lancashire shared 33 different paid jobs and artist commissions from Lancashire arts and culture organisations on our LinkedIn page?
We’re happy to report that March is kicking off strong, too. Of course, we may be biased, but working in the Lancashire arts and culture sector is a truly special experience. Whether you’re in full-time or part-time employment, working as a commissioned artist, or volunteering, you’re guaranteed to work closely with senior leadership and see your input genuinely valued. You’ll often have the chance to engage with different aspects of the projects and organisations you work with, helping you to develop your skills and prepare you for future career opportunities in Lancashire, or beyond. News/For Information
We are working with artists Rob St John and Tommy Perman to create a sound and image archive and exhibition of people's experience of the town past, present and future.
We're asking people for stories, songs, sounds, photographs, films or memorabilia to share around the subject. If you've anything to share, please send to [email protected] or 07508 902 008 and your contributions will be part of a new archive, which will be exhibited in Autumn 2026. Information for parents to protect their children through vaccination.
We know your child’s health is your top priority and so protecting them from serious disease is incredibly important. That is why the NHS offers a free childhood vaccine programme, safeguarding your child from certain illnesses. Vaccines work by causing the body’s immune system to remember the specific infection targeted in each vaccine. If your child comes into contact with an infection and they have had their vaccines, your child’s body will recognise that infection and quickly respond to fight off diseases like measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough and more. |
