You may be aware of the new Lancashire Service Finder — a comprehensive online directory being developed by Lancashire County Council to help residents of all ages easily find and access local support services.
When the directory goes live in the coming months, it will become the primary platform used to signpost individuals, families and professionals to services across the county. To ensure your organisation is included, please take a moment to complete this registration form if you haven’t already done so. If you are an LCC‑commissioned service, please indicate clearly within your service description whether you operate as a public‑facing service or a professional‑only service. This distinction is essential so that residents and practitioners can easily identify which services are accessible to them. Pol-Ed is an interactive, police-led education programme designed to support young people to make informed, positive choices and to better understand the consequences of certain behaviours. It's an online teaching resource with different lesson plans aimed at different age groups. The programme covers a range of topics including knife crime, exploitation, online safety, vaping/smoking and much more, and each topic has an overview for the 'teacher' with notes and guidance as to how best to work through the online content with their group of young people.
