Location: Lancashire and Cumbria
Main Programme: Starting Sep 25
Ages: 16-25
 
Join Team, our 12-week personal development programme, for the chance to gain new skills, earn a qualification and meet like-minded people.
 
Young people will take part in a group community project, go on a fun-filled residential trip, and develop their English, maths, communication and teamwork skills.

Get Started with Drama

Location: Burnley Youth Theatre
Taster Day: 23 Jul 25
Main Programme: 28 Jul - 1 Aug 25
Ages: 16-25


On this course, young people will take part in performing arts workshops, get involved backstage in behind-the-scenes activities, learn how to direct and manage performances and learn stage lighting techniques. 


To be eligible, young people must be aged 16-25 and not in any work, training or education.

Development Awards

Ages: 16-30


Our Development Awards are grants to help young people overcome financial barriers to training, employment or education. They can cover the cost of accredited course fees, tools or equipment, ID, uniform, and other barriers to achieving their goals.
The award amount varies based on individual needs and goals, but typically range from £175- £200.
To be eligible, young people must be:


  • Aged 16-30 and living in the UK
  • Studying less than 14 hours a week or not in compulsory education
  • Unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week.

Location: Burnley
Taster Day: 2 Jul 25
Main Programme: 8 Jul - 1 Aug 25
Ages: 16-25


On our Explore programme, young people will take part in fun, challenging activities to help grow their confidence while taking steps to achieve their goals.


They will gain key skills to support them in life and work, including teamwork, leadership and communication. We'll provide regular one-to-one support to help young people achieve a positive outcome.

Enterprise
Location: Virtual
Programme dates: Enterprise runs all year round
Ages: 18-30


Looking for support to launch your business? Our free Enterprise programme is here to help you turn that dream into a reality.


With expert-led workshops, one-to-one support, and opportunities to apply for funding, we provide the tools you need to create a strong business plan and start a successful business.


Eligibility Criteria:
  • The programme is open to young people aged 18 to 30.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK, and you must intend for your business to operate in the UK
  • You must own, or plan to own, at least 50% of the business.
  • If you’ve already started your business, you must have been actively trading for less than 1 year.
