Pendle's Community Resilience Conference 2026. When: Wednesday 30th September 9am- 3pm Where: Colne Muni, Albert Road Pendle faces some of the highest levels of childhood poverty in the UK, but within our communities lies an equally powerful strength – the people, the partnerships and a shared determination to create change. This event is an opportunity to bring together the organisations, community groups, services and individuals who are already making a difference every day. Together, we can tackle the root causes of poverty, build stronger and more resilient communities, and ensure that every resident has the opportunity not just to survive, but to thrive. 
Our final Fresk event of this years programme will be on 4th August, 11-3pm Building Bridges, Scotland Rd, Nelson as part of our new Climate Lab Pendle programme, which you would be very welcome to attend.
 BFC in the Community are running some football sessions for the community at Sackville Street, Brierfield. This will be on the MUGA across the road from the mosque.
They are looking at getting children from 8-18 years. The aim is to provide children with activities from 5-7 pm and also break down barriers with the community.  Colne Youth Action Group Charity wondered if you would be happy to help us with a consultation for the future development of our music project, The Sound House.
 We recently made you aware that after a review of our Roving Support Team service based in East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, and an increased support offer from our joint working with VSCFE organisations, the drop-in clinics were no longer required in their current format.
