The BPRCVS Social Prescribing Team recently welcomed new trainee doctors from UCLan to shadow their work in the community.

The placement gave the trainees a first-hand insight into the referral process and how social prescribers support clients to overcome barriers. Social prescribers take a holistic, non-clinical approach, helping people access the services and support they need.
