LACVS Volunteering for Health project are producing a Vision for Volunteering and we are now consulting on the insights we have gathered in during 2025/6. We are asking the VCFSE sector and beyond for their feedback on the infographics, answering the following 3 questions during April and May:
This is your opportunity to have your say in a document which we hope will help us strengthen the VCFSE sector and our communities moving forwards. If you would like to have a face to face or TEAMS meeting to discuss this further we would be delighted to hear form you, or we would be just as delighted for a few sentences of feedback (even if it is just, its great as it is). We will be launching the Vision during Volunteers Week, look out for more information on this during May. the mapping of faith locations in Pendle - Six spreadsheets, corresponding to church / mosque based provision for a) family support; b) food security; c) mental health.

Participate in activities regularly delivered to YES Hub participants, meet young people who have been supported by the Hub and find out how you can get involved in supporting our project! BPRCVS and Pendle Borough Council have had a beneficial and fruitful partnership over
many years. The Service Level Agreements that have been in place have dictated the work CVS delivers in Pendle. CVS projects, connections and partnerships enable us to bring huge added value to enhance the funding from Pendle Borough Council and exceed expected delivery. Spring North and Child Action Northwest are pioneering a project designed to provide comprehensive support to families and parents who have children diagnosed with autism and those going through the assessment process. The project, operating across East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, offers a wide range of vital services to address the specific needs of these families.
Lancashire County Council is currently undertaking a piece of work to map community food provision across Lancashire, and we would be grateful for your support.
We are developing a campaign aimed at reducing stigma around mental health and accessing support.
