Earlier this week, I met with Justine from the Royal Dyche to discuss a number of issues affecting the local area. As many of you know, Justine is incredibly passionate about our community, and we are keen to work together to tackle concerns such as anti-social behaviour, littering and the general upkeep of the neighbourhood.
The Council's Town to Turf project has invested significant funding into the Yorkshire Street area, and we want to build on that investment by working together to restore pride in the area, support residents and local businesses, and create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for everyone. Please could you advise your young people about the below opportunity. Would you like the opportunity to have your voice heard and make a real difference in your community?
We're looking for young people to join us at the next Youth Independent Advisory Group (IAG) meeting: 📍 Burnley Police Station 📅 Tuesday 22nd September 2026 🕕 6:00pm Bringing people together through communication, collaboration and connection. We’re excited to announce the return of the Smile Conference for 2026.
With this year's theme, Connection, we'll bring together people and organisations from across different sectors for a day of learning, collaboration and conversation. Join us on Friday 2 October 2026 at Burnley Football Club for this FREE event as we explore why connection matters and how we can build stronger communities together. Below is a list of WithYou Lancashire's free online substance and service training for August. Please feel free to join onto the sessions, or if you'd prefer training to just your team or staff, we can arrange free training online or in person.
