Waterside Adult Advice Event

Lancashire Adult Learning will be holding an Advice and Enrolment Event on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 at The Waterside Centre, St James Court West, Accrington, BB5 1NA. This is a drop event any time between 1pm and 6pm.

​Attendees will be able to:

- Learn about our wide range of courses to suit all abilities at different levels
- Get help with fees and finance and how you may be able to study for free
- Explore our flexible study options to fit around home and work life

Courses will be available in subjects including..

Counselling
Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services
End of Life Care
Mental Health
Adult Social Care
Dementia
Residential Children’s Services

The event will be a good starting point for anyone looking to start a course from September with the opportunity to chat to tutors about the course requirements and qualifications. 

Plus information will be available at the event for:
- CSCS Health and Safety courses to help people get their CSCS card to work in construction.
- Railway Maintenance training
- Family Learning including Teaching / Classroom Assistant courses
- Business Administration, Accounting and Business Start Up courses  
- Maths, English and ESOL courses
