Unlock Funding for Your Community Projects with the BCCRP Grant Programme

​The Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service (BPRCVS) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Community Cohesion and Resilience Programme (BCCRP) Funding, in partnership with Burnley Borough Council. This funding opportunity aims to empower local voluntary, community, and faith organisations with an annual turnover of less than £300,000 to strengthen community connections, promote unity, and tackle pressing local challenges.

What is the BCCRP Funding?The BCCRP Grant Programme is designed to:

• Foster Community Cohesion: Bring people from diverse backgrounds together through activities like volunteering, workshops, and events.
• Strengthen Resilience: Build the skills and capacity of local organisations to address tensions, extremist narratives, and ideologies.
• Support Local Projects: Enable initiatives that improve mental health, environmental sustainability, and social connections.

Grants ranging from £500 to £5,000 are available for eligible projects that align with the programme’s aims.

Who Can Apply?

This funding is open to constituted community and not-for-profit organisations based in Burnley with a turnover under £300,000.

• Strengthen partnerships for long-term resilience.

Important Dates and Deadlines

• Applications Open: 15th January 2025
• Application Deadline: 12 noon, 29th January 2025
• Funds Committed By: 31st March 2025
• Funds Spent By: 15th May 2025

What Can’t Be Funded?

While the programme covers many project-related expenses, the following are excluded:

• Political or religious messaging.
• Capital costs or pre-approval expenses.
• Activities funded by other projects.
