Please could you advise your young people about the below opportunity. Would you like the opportunity to have your voice heard and make a real difference in your community?
We're looking for young people to join us at the next Youth Independent Advisory Group (IAG) meeting: 📍 Burnley Police Station 📅 Tuesday 22nd September 2026 🕕 6:00pm Bringing people together through communication, collaboration and connection. We’re excited to announce the return of the Smile Conference for 2026.
With this year's theme, Connection, we'll bring together people and organisations from across different sectors for a day of learning, collaboration and conversation. Join us on Friday 2 October 2026 at Burnley Football Club for this FREE event as we explore why connection matters and how we can build stronger communities together. Below is a list of WithYou Lancashire's free online substance and service training for August. Please feel free to join onto the sessions, or if you'd prefer training to just your team or staff, we can arrange free training online or in person.
Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Lancashire are being invited to take part in an exciting new pilot programme aimed at bringing community activity into Lancashire County Council Day Centres during evenings and weekends.
The Community Use Pilot will explore how council-owned day service buildings can be used more openly and collaboratively outside their normal weekday operating hours. The initiative aims to support social connection, improve wellbeing, reduce loneliness and make better use of valuable community assets. Living in Burnley or Padiham and need support with work?
Connect to Work offers personalised employment support to help people find, start and stay in work. If you're living with a disability, managing a long-term health condition, or facing challenges in employment, support is available. |
