What is the focus of the fund?
The aim of the fund is to support community groups and charities that work to improve the lives of people in Burnley. Grants are available to fund:
It is expected that recipients will be able to clearly demonstrate the results of the funding i.e. for test and learn, whether the project/idea can be developed further at the end of the grant or not. All ideas will be considered as long as a clear rationale has been provided. How much is available: Grants of up to £3,500. Early Years Grants are available to community groups who provide sessions for parent/carer and 0-5 years.
Building on the previous success of our grants to organisations offering support to Great Places' customers and the local community with the cost-of-living crisis, we are pleased to launch our Resilience Fund for 2024.
This fund applies to Burnley and Pendle. Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw's Community fund is now open to applications from local organisations, charities, community groups and community safety partners for projects that help to tackle or prevent crime and anti-social behaviour in Lancashire.
