Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day, we pause to reflect, remember, and take action. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy that leaves ripples through families, friends, and communities. The theme this year, “Changing the Narrative”, reminds us that suicide prevention starts with compassion, open conversations, and breaking down stigma. Talking saves lives.
When someone feels isolated, unheard, or overwhelmed, reaching out—even in a small way—can make a difference. By listening without judgement, offering support, and guiding people to the right help, we can all play a part in preventing suicide.
