Lancashire Young Carers Service

Barnardo’s, commissioned by Lancashire County Council and the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, provides a statutory service for Lancashire with responsibility for assessing all Young Carers across the county.

The service supports Young Carers under the age of 18 who provide regular and ongoing care, as well as emotional support, to a family member who is physically or mentally ill, disabled, or misuses substances, and whose lives are significantly affected by their caring role.
