From 1st October 2025, drug and alcohol services across Lancashire will come together as a single, county-wide service: Inspire Lancashire, delivered by Change Grow Live.
 
You may have known us previously as Inspire East Lancashire or Inspire North and Central Lancashire — now, we’re joining forces under one name to offer a more joined-up, consistent approach.
 
 
 
Our vision is clear: to integrate our teams and elevate the support we offer.
 
We’re not here to reinvent the incredible work already happening — instead, we’re building on what’s strong, identifying where we can improve, and raising the bar in how we support the people and communities we serve.

From 1st October 2025, all Inspire services across Lancashire will use one number: 08081 698 673.

If you call an old number, don’t worry — you’ll hear a recorded message pointing you to the new one. This will stay in place until the end of the year to help keep things simple.

 
Whether you’re already working with Inspire or just getting to know us, it’s helpful to know who’s leading the way. Our Senior Management Team is here to make sure we’re delivering the best possible support – wherever you are in the county.

Confidential Helpline
Launching 1st October

 
As part of our new service model, Inspire is launching a free, confidential helpline to support people who may feel unsure, anxious, or not yet ready to engage with drug and alcohol services.
 
The helpline offers emotional support, advice and information — helping people explore their options in a safe, non-judgemental space. Callers can talk through their concerns, request a digital info pack, or begin an assessment if they feel ready.
 
This flexible approach is designed to build trust, remove barriers, and help people take the first step — at the right time, and in the right way for them.

An Update On Our Hubs

📍  Morecambe

 
CGL will be exiting Belfield House (our Morecambe Hub) in mid‑October. From the same week, we’ll begin seeing people at The Lighthouse Centre while we transition to a full community model.


We’ll also deliver services from The Bay Medical Centres across Morecambe — giving people support closer to home and alongside other primary care services.

 

Leyland

 
We’re currently securing new premises in Leyland so people can be seen in the heart of the community.
This will help those who may find it harder to travel to our existing sites. Once confirmed, we’ll share the address, opening times and how to refer.
