We're extremely pleased to invite you to the national premiere of The White Elephant in the Room, a documentary produced by the Co-Alc Alliance (About | Co-Alc Alliance), highlighting the hidden risks of mixing cocaine with alcohol and the emerging evidence linking cocaethylene to impulsive behaviour, mental distress, and suicide risk. We are delighted to be hosting this important screening in Blackburn with Darwen, the first in the country, and look forward to welcoming partners and professionals to what promises to be a powerful and thought-provoking event. The film has been developed in partnership with bereaved families, people with lived experience, researchers and practitioners, and seeks to stimulate discussion about an important and often overlooked public health issue.
