You don’t need to have years of experience or hold a particular job title to make a valuable contribution. We’re looking for people who care about Nelson, enjoy working with others and are willing to share their ideas, knowledge and enthusiasm. Every perspective matters, and some of the best ideas come from people who simply want to make a positive difference.

As a Board member, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape projects, influence decisions and work alongside local partners to support the long-term future of the town. It’s also a great way to meet new people, learn more about what’s happening across Nelson and play an active role in delivering meaningful change.
