 We wanted to share some exciting news with you regarding a new initiative we are rolling out to support the delivery of the Best Start in Life. We have commissioned the Easy Peasy App for Lancashire, a fantastic tool designed to support early childhood development. Our shared aspiration is to encourage all our parents and carers to download and use the App regularly. The evidence supporting Easy Peasy shows a significant positive impact on the number of children achieving a Good Level of Development by the end of reception. This aligns perfectly with the targets set by the Department for Education. To help us reach our goal, we are asking all professionals working with children aged 0-5 years to download the App yourselves. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with its features and benefits. Even more importantly, we need you to actively promote the App to parents and carers, supporting them in downloading and using it.
To give everyone the best opportunity to understand and support this initiative, we have arranged a short briefing with Easy Peasy. These will provide insights into the App through demonstrations and discussions on the benefits for babies, children, and their parents and carers. It’s important that everyone working with parents and carers of children aged 0-5 attends the briefing, as they are crucial to our progress with Easy Peasy.
