Calling all crafters, craft groups and creative communities across Lancashire!

Blackburn Cathedral and The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside are inviting people to take part in the Lancashire Community Craft Project, creating individual textile panels that will be stitched together into a stunning 13-metre table runner celebrating the people, places and wildlife of Lancashire.

Inspired by the magnificent Table for the Nation, the project aims to bring together 800 handcrafted panels showcasing everything that makes Lancashire special. Contributions can use a wide range of craft techniques, from embroidery and appliqué to knitting, crochet and needle felting.

Submission deadline: 31 March 2027
Panel packs available from £5
Finished panels can be submitted to Blackburn Cathedral
