Burnley's Climate Action Week

A​s part of Burnley's Climate Action Week, we are bringing together community groups, organisations, volunteers and residents for a borough-wide community litter pick on Friday 2nd October.

The aim is simple: to make a positive difference to our local environment while bringing people together to take pride in their neighbourhoods.

We are looking for community groups and local leaders who would be willing to:

• Host or lead a litter pick in their area
• Encourage members and volunteers to take part
• Help spread the word within their networks
• Support local environmental action and community pride

Litter picks can be as big or small as you like. Whether it's a short clean-up around your community centre, local park, estate or neighbourhood, every contribution will help make a difference.
