Your Voice Matters – Help Shape Lancashire’s Transport Future by 30 November

2/10/2025

We are inviting you to help shape the future of transport in Lancashire by contributing to the consultation on the Lancashire Local Transport Plan Core Strategy 2025–2045.

This strategy sets out an ambitious vision for a transport system that is inclusive, sustainable and future-ready—supporting economic growth, improving access for all, and responding to the climate emergency. But to make this vision a reality, we need your insight.
Why your input is essential

Your perspective will help ensure the final strategy reflects the real-world priorities of those who live, work and invest in Lancashire. This is your opportunity to influence how transport will evolve over the next 20 years—don’t miss it.

What’s available to support your review
Visit http://www.lancashire-cca.gov.uk/ltp to access:
  • The draft Local Transport Plan Core Strategy
  • A short online questionnaire
  • Supporting materials including:
    • A glossary
    • Our evidence base
    • Environmental assessments
How to respond
Please review the draft and complete the online survey by 30 November 2025.
When responding, select the option indicating if you are submitting feedback on behalf of an organisation or as an induvial.

Printed copies of the survey and key materials are available at public libraries across Lancashire or can be requested directly.
What happens next
Following the consultation, we will finalise the Core Strategy and begin developing a detailed Implementation Plan—a practical roadmap that translates the strategy into action. This will include:
  • Specific projects and programmes
  • Funding and delivery mechanisms
  • Timelines and performance indicators
Your feedback now will help shape not only the strategic direction but also the real-world decisions that follow.

This is your chance to influence how transport investment is prioritised and delivered across Lancashire.

Let’s work together to create a transport system that delivers for everyone in Lancashire—now and for generations to come.

We urge you to take part and make your organisation’s voice heard.
