This project has been designed to help women aged 18+ with a learning disability to:
· Feel safer in relationships · Learn about rights, consent and speaking up · Build confidence and wellbeing · Meet other women in a friendly, supported group · Create accessible resources to support others The Project🧡 Part 1 – Strong Women: Safe, Connected, Respected Six creative and supportive workshops on healthy relationships, boundaries, staying safe, and self-care. Thursdays, 6th November – 11th December 2025 🕙 10:00am – 12:30pm 🟣 Part 2 – Women’s Voices in Action A peer-led group where women work together to make posters, videos or booklets that share their experiences and advice with others. Thursdays, 8th January – 2nd April 2025 🕙 10:00am – 12:30pm The project begins with an Intro Session – a chance to meet the team, find out more and see if it’s the right fit: Thursday 9th October 2025 🕙 10:00am – 11:30am 📍 Emily Davison Centre, Accrington, BB5 0DW Key Information Cost: Free to attend Who it’s for: Women aged 18+ with a learning disability or autistic women Support: Staff and volunteers will be on hand to ensure participants feel safe, included and supported throughout 👉 Please share this opportunity with women you support who may benefit.
