Please see below for the latest information and events relevant for professionals and organisations tackling poverty across Lancashire: 📌 The Lancashire Anti-Poverty Network is continuing to collect information about organisations delivering money guidance across Lancashire, as well as insights to inform where this support is most needed. The survey should be completed by professionals working with household experiencing poverty, or who may come into contact with households experiencing poverty through the course of their work. Respondents are also able to enter a raffle to win a £50 Love2Shop voucher. 📌 The most recent Indices of Multiple Deprivation have revealed that 7/10 of the most deprived neighbourhoods are in Blackpool. 16% of neighbourhoods in Blackpool, and 10% of neighbourhoods in Burnley rank as 'highly deprived' according to the IMD. In Blackburn, 37.2% of households are income deprived. Organisations are encouraged to tune in for the main event or host a venue listening party. Further details can be found on the attached flyer. 📌 Early bird tickets have gone live for the Resolve Poverty annual conference, taking place on 18th and 19th March in central Manchester. We’ll be centring the conference on the role localities can play through practical interventions that maximise the financial resources available to households as the bedrock to living a good life. We will consider how local action can raise expectations for society, particularly children and young people, linking the anti-poverty agenda to realising the potential of people and places.
