Creative Support Online Volunteer Recruitment Event - Tuesday 15th July

On Tuesday 15th July we are having an online recruitment event for people who are interested in volunteering with us. We are a nationwide social care organisation who support adults with a variety of support needs including mental health needs and Learning disabilities in a variety of settings such as  supported living and in community settings. We have a variety of volunteer roles available across our services including activity sessions for arts and crafts, walking groups, litter picking, board games, bingo, etc, and befriender roles to provide companionship to somebody we support.

The online recruitment session will give prospective volunteers the chance to find out about volunteering with Creative Support including our application process, how we support people in their volunteer role and we will hear from current volunteers and a volunteer supervisor. There will also be a chance to ask questions at the end of the session. Here is the programme of Events:


-              5:30 – 5:40pm – Welcome to the event, and a short introduction with information about Creative Support.


-              5:40 – 5:45 – Screen video of Volunteer


-              5:45 – 6pm – Details about application process


-              6pm – 6:10pm – Screen video of Volunteering


-              6:10 – 6:20pm – Information of how we support volunteers in place by a Volunteer Supervisor.


-              6:20 – 6:30pm – Answer any questions.


The event takes place from 5:30pm till 6:30pm, and we are asking that people contact us to book a place and we will then send out a confirmation email with the zoom link.
