Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid for Mental Health

Did you know that 1 in 4 people in the UK are likely to experience mental health problems each year? Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet whilst we know how to take care of our own physical health, many people do not know how to support friends, relatives or even colleagues who are experiencing poor mental health.

This accredited course is for people who wish to raise their awareness of the signs and symptoms associated with emergency mental health incidents either in a workplace, community venue or general public areas.

By developing a greater understanding of a range of common mental health conditions, as well as how to initially respond to a person experiencing mental ill-health, you can help support and understand the actions to take in a mental health emergency.

This 2-day course (full days) is delivered in a classroom environment with an activity workbook to record knowledge and understanding used for end assessment for the accredited qualification.
