King's Trust Residential Care Home Programme

On the programme young people will:

• Understand the realities of working with children in care
• Develop practical knowledge around safeguarding, emotional resilience, behaviour management, and person-centred care
• Build essential work ready skills such as communication, team working, organisation and problem solving
• Take part in a half day chaperoned visit to a registered children’s home
• Have the potential for an interview at the end of the programme for current vacancies, depending on outcome of programme and positions available

Eligibility:

• Must be 19+
• Must not be on a Visa
• No sponsorship available

Programme dates:
15.09.25- 24.10.25
Half a day induction visit.
