Job Opportunity: Part-Time Social Connector

​Location: Burnley, Pendle & Rossendale CVS
Hours: 20 hours per week (Wednesday–Friday, flexible working)
Salary: £14,639 (£27,082 pro rata)
Closing Date: Friday 3rd October 2025, 12 noon

We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Connector to join our Health and Wellbeing team.
The role will involve supporting people referred through our Social Prescribing programme, helping them to access community groups, activities, and services that improve health and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with local GP practices, volunteers, and organisations across the voluntary, community, and faith (VCF) sector.
What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting individuals to achieve their own goals and improve wellbeing.
  
• Linking people to community opportunities and services.
  
• Helping those with more complex needs find suitable support networks.
  
• Promoting independence and reducing social isolation.
  
• Working with volunteers and supporting the wider Social Prescribing team.
