New Grant Opportunity - Support Early Cancer Diagnosis in Your Community

Funding Opportunity to raise Cancer Awareness and Improve Outcomes 

Last year, through the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance VCFSE Cancer Awareness Grants Scheme, we supported 18 fantastic local organisations funded by the Cancer Alliance to deliver community-led projects that raised awareness, encouraged screening, and helped people seek assistance sooner. Collectively, these initiatives reached over 313,000 individuals and made a significant impact across the region. 

Spring North is excited to again partner with the Cancer Alliance again to deliver a new round of grant funding. 

We are now inviting charities, voluntary groups, and community organisations to apply for funding of up to £10,000 to deliver new projects that aim to:

• Increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer
• Promote uptake of screening appointments and HPV vaccinations
• Help communities overcome barriers to seeking help early

​Projects should last between 6 and 12 months and focus on communities where cancer outcomes are poorest.
