Join the team at Burnley, Pendle & Rossendale CVS as a Children and Young People’s Social Prescribing Linkworker.

This exciting role will support the development of a Social Prescribing programme for children and young people across the Burnley East Primary Care Network.

Based in Burnley East
Full Time – 37 hours per week
12 Month Contract
Salary: £31,200 per annum
We’re looking for someone passionate about supporting children, young people and families to improve their health and wellbeing through personalised support, positive activities and community connections.

The role includes:

• Working directly with children and young people aged 7–18
• Supporting families through assessments and action plans
• Connecting young people to local services and activities
• Working alongside schools, GP practices and community partners
• Promoting positive wellbeing and safeguarding young people

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in youth work, education, social care, health, or community support who wants to make a real difference.

• Enhanced DBS required
• Flexible working required, including some evenings and weekends
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
