This is going to be a special Halloween screening. Join Pendle Social Cinema for Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, where we'll have an improvised musical score performed live throughout the film - its the closest you can get to seeing the film as it was in 1922. Thursday 30th October Based very closely on Bram Stoker's Dracula (so closely, that Bram Stoker's widow successfully sued the production company for copyright infringment). Experience the classic horror film like never before as we have live haunting music performed to accompany the eerie tale of Count Orlok. Don't miss this unique event where cinema meets live performance for an unforgettable night. Magpahi is the enigmatic and haunting music of composer, visual artist and curator Alison Cooper. In a connective exploration of sound she works to develop new understandings between narratives of landscape, material culture and human interaction. Alison will be creating an improvised performance to accompany the film. Not to be missed.
