Register here: What the Warm Homes Plan Means for Community Energy | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams The government’s newly launched Warm Homes Plan commits £15bn to retrofitting UK homes and promises to lift 1 million households out of fuel poverty. This is an ambitious plan that will require the community energy sector to play an active role as a trusted intermediary. We will be joined by Peter Griffin, Principal Analyst for Heat and Buildings at Regen, who will summarise the updates from the plan including grants, loans, the move to electrification, and the new Warm Homes Agency. We will also discuss what the plan means for our community energy sector and the opportunities it presents. In case you missed it in our last newsletter, you can read our WHP energy champion briefing here, which provides an overview of the most relevant points for energy advisors, including a breakdown of the loans and grants that will be on offer to consumers.
