Watch Now Help us sort the switch Whether it’s GCSEs or A Levels, results day marks an important milestone. It’s exciting, but can be scary. It's an important time to look after our mental health. Young people have the right to mental health support, whatever their age. But for young people in Wales, the switch from child to adult mental health support isn’t working. That's why we’ve launched the campaign, Sort the Switch, to try and put it right. Find out how you can get involved. Join The Campaign Mind presents...Behind the Song In this honest interview as part of our Behind the Song series, singer-songwriter YUNGBLUD shares the story behind his song, Breakdown. As he says, he wrote the song during one of the darkest times of his life. Watch the full interview on YouTube for an insight into the experiences that inspired the music. And hear why YUNGBLUD, like all of us at Mind, thinks talking about mental health is so important. Watch The Interview Now Coming on 10 October: World Mental Health Day On 10 October 2024, we’ll be making noise for World Mental Health Day, and we need you by our side to have the loudest impact. 2 million people are currently stuck on waiting lists for mental health support and being forced to turn to crisis or emergency services for help. We’re not standing for that. There'll be lots of ways you can support, from sharing on your socials to adding your voice to campaigns. Together we can make sure there’s no mind left behind. Keep an eye out over the next couple of months for ways to get involved. On-air: Get talking to your mates In 2023, we marked World Mental Health Day by supporting ITV’s Britain Get Talking campaign, encouraging us to chat about our mental health. And you might have spotted us again on TV this August. We've teamed up with ITV for the Take a Mate on a Date campaign. Featuring stars like Maya Jama and Ant and Dec, the on-air campaign shows the power of meeting up with friends to boost our wellbeing. Talking isn’t the whole solution, but it can help us cope.
