The grant is unrestricted and can be used where it’s needed most. The application form is straightforward and easy to complete. Grants will be awarded to the organisations that best show how they will use the grant. Successful applicants will be selected across a range of categories and geographical areas and the Impact Fund is open to causes of all sizes and structures. The application window for 2026 will open on 23th February, with a deadline of 6th April. All organisations are eligible to apply including Registered charities, Other not-for-profit organisations, Sports clubs, Schools, Social enterprises and CICs, Churches and religious organisations The Ulverscroft Foundation The Ulverscroft Foundation is a UK based charity offering grants to organisations looking for help with projects relating to improving the quality of life of visually impaired people. Funding is mainly given to organisations directly helping the visually impaired, including libraries, schools, colleges and hospitals, charities, CICs or social groups Funding can be considered from UK or overseas based organisations. The Foundation is keen to support specific projects and associated costs. Henry Smith Foundation - Holiday Grants for Children The Henry Smith Foundation – Holiday Grants for Children helps children who experience inequity and/or have disabilities to go on fun trips. It funds schools, youth groups, and non-profit organisations planning one-time trips for children aged 13 and under, prioritising fun and new experiences, such as camping, adventure activities, or visits to the seaside. 60% of the grants were given to organisations working in areas in the top 20% of deprivation. The grant scheme offers grants between £500-£2,750. Tips to high cost attractions like theme parks are less likely to be funded.
