This is our second Curiosity Conference, and we’re excited to once again showcase and share evidence from research and practice with those eager to learn and do more through whole-systems, place-based approaches to tackling physical activity inequality.

This CoL/Laboratory event is designed to inspire, celebrate success, showcase impact and connect those passionate about making a difference in their communities.

What to expect:

• Keynote speakers that activate curiosity and inspire action
• Workshops to experience, engage, connect and apply
• Roundtable discussions to debate, sense check and challenge thinking
• Time to connect - opportunities to interact with some of our place-based work initiatives, whilst having the chance to connect with others across different systems and places

Who will be there:

We will be joined by an incredible mix of speakers and partners, including:

• Dr Hussain Al-Zubaidi – TV Doctor and Royal College of GPs Lifestyle & Physical Activity Clinical Champion

• Jamie MacDonald (aka 'Adventureman') - speaker, adventurer, record breaker and fundraiser

• TaAF place-based and universal workstreams - including Active Schools, Active Madrassahs, Lead Through Strengths, Farming Stronger for Longer, Burnley Outdoor Town, Pendle Active Practices, as well as Rossendale, Hyndburn and Blackburn with Darwen TaAF localities
