Christmas Appeal 2025

17/10/2025

The Christmas appeal is back!

Burnley Together are launching this year’s Christmas appeal on Monday 27th October and would love you to be a part of it.
Last year, 40 schools/organisations hosted toy, food or both bins. Are you going to be one of them this year?

Gifts:
This Christmas we have put a twist on how we are asking for gifts to be collected.  Can you be creative and produce your own way to collect?  This could be a sack, a Christmas gift box or will it be under your Christmas tree?  We would love you to share your creative ideas so we can post them on our socials!
Attached is the poster you can use to circulate and promote in your school and on socials about this years appeal.
With your support, the Christmas appeal helped over 1000 children receive gifts on Christmas morning. AMAZING!!!

Food:
Working alongside BFC in the Community, we have decided to be more creative with the food drive this year too and created a reverse advent.
If you would like to take part in the reverse advent, see the poster attached to this email. However, any food donations will be greatly appreciated!

If you would like to be a host, please complete the attached form and email back to [email protected]

Referring families you identify, to receive gifts.
Attached is a referral form for you to identify any families you support who you feel would benefit from our Christmas Gift appeal.
Please could you list the educational settings all the children attend.

This helps prevent duplication so more families can be supported.
Please return this form by Friday 28th November to [email protected]

Collection of Gifts
It is important the children receive gifts that are suited to them, and watching and listening last year, you are the ones who definitely know the children!
We appreciate this is a very busy time of year and is why we want to plan ahead.  Attached is an appointment request form.  Please place a number between 1-4 (1 being the preferred date/time, 4 being the least) of a different day/time you can attend. We will then email you with the specific time and date from your 4 chosen slots to come along to pick and pack.
